How Do You Make MP3 CD's?
I was riding around with my buddy in his pickup the other day and I noticed that the CD we were listening to was really long. I asked him about it and he reached down and put it on track 75! I was amazed. I had heard about MP3 CD's, but I didn't know you could put that many songs on one CD. How do these things work? Can you make them with a regular CD burner? Do you use regular CD-R's or do you have to buy another kind? If anyone knows how to make them please give me step by step directions on how to do it. I would really appreciate it.
regular cd-r, regular burner. Just make a data cd as you would copy any document or file only put all your music there. You can even add folders and separate your music. The cheaper mp3 reading stereos won;t recognize the folders but the better ones do. Then just load into your cd player and play. It does take a few seconds longer as it reads the whole cd prior to playing. You will have a couple hundred songs....
BTW, make sure your radio plays MP3's, it should say right on the faceplate.

Let me rephrase. I don't think that Media Player can make a data cd. I just put in a blank cd-r in to the drive, and drag and drop file right to the cd. Then on the left of the screen you click burn cd and your done.
So in other words, I can't make them. I'm kinda confused here. You'll have to forgive me I'm not very good with computers.

I take it back. I just figured it out. You can make a data CD with version. I got one going right now with 92 tracks on it. I hope it works. I should know or not here in a few minutes. Well as a matter of fact it just kicked out. It was quicker than a regualar CD. This may be a bad sign, I had better got see if it worked.
It worked. It sounds just as good as the rest of my CD's, but with a ton of more songs on it. But I just can't win for losing. While I was running through the tracks my left-front 6X9 went out. I think it's just a loose connection though because it would come and go before I lost it completely. I guess I gotta pull that door panel off tomorrow. M!T@er $UC%IN^ SHI&! Well anyway thank you so much for helping me.
