I recieved a copy of illustrator cs3 from a friend who doesnt want it anymore, and when i went to install it it wouldnt take his serial number, any ideas how i can make it take a serial number, or aybody have a working serial number that i could use any help would be great thanks

 

You may need to contact Adobe, I believe their SN's are based off a combination of computer CPU SN and a generated algorithim using this number. In this way, only registered onwenrs can access the software and the number is unique for every computer. That may bewhy your friends SN is not working on your computer.

 

damn i was hoping to avoid that bc they want cc # that it was bought with and everything when you call them about a bad serial number, so if thats the case does anybody have a keygen program for illustrator CS3 i know their illegal, but i have a serial from adobe that doesnt work and all i want is to make the program work and i couldnt find any

any help would be awesom

I had a similar problem a few yrs ago but w/ photoshop cs instead. Thing wanted to activate over the internet. These newer adobe programs usually need certain files replaced to take a code or skip the activation, so be careful what you download there. If adobe won't help you out, figure you can search for a crack off a bit torrent site like mininova. I'm sure there's at least one over there.
