point taken. however, would you have PMed me, i would have reworded it to make sure people didnt think that i wanted that type of thing here.
this is a much nicer, and much more enjoyable site than are the others to which i belong...2g is mostly guys, between the ages of 16-25, and is is nothing more than a constant arguement, with a porno section...which is why i spend my time here.

 

I don't like the idea. Because if you need a certain number of posts to be able to go to this area for high posters...guess what people do? Thats right, post lots and lots of BS just to get post count up.

 

That's a good point, but that already takes place because we have a top ten posters list. You're right about the limited access area/forum though, it's not fair to everyone else on the board. I'd personally rather hear from a newbie with something to say vs a site elder with the some old crap to say. That's what a board like this is about, a forum to exchange information about our cars.

I don't need a special forum to speak with the people on the list, and being on the list doesn't make a hoot of difference in who the person is, or what they know. Only that they have said alot and spent a considerable amount of time here.

 

actually, i think the reason 2G has a minimum post requirement to get into the hidden page is because its inappropriate....that way they can tell whether new members should be allowed in...you also need a special name and password to get in...
note-im still not suggesting the idea...

 

Well, just because you have enough time to kill that you post alot is not justification enough to have some elitist poster section.
