downloaded this on live cd, very nice even a simpleton can use it, like me...

 

I am testing some more Linux live cd's, I also like Opensuse 10.3. and hey its free...!!

 

RadHat, Fedora, and my personal favorite: Ubuntu 8.04 are my top picks for a Linux distribution...

I also have Xandros on my Eee, which is an average Linux OS overall.

 

I am just testing some linux OS and see which one best works on my computer, so PCLinuxos everything works, I could not configure my printer in the Opensuse 10.3 .

 

I guess I am goig to use the Fedora, everyting works well and is backed by Red Hat. I have downloaded Ubuntu 3 times from different servers and it will not work on my computer , just hangs up

 

I am typing this on my LINUX machine; a PClinuxOS operating system, new cheep <$200 desktop off Fleebay. Linux is amazing, I only have 256MB of ram, and its still very fast..I will use this one just to surf the web, and hey no updates to install, and bog my system down.

 

Install Wine or Crossover and it will run your MS Applications!
