If I'm missing something obvious here, someone beat me over the head with it.

The photo gallery won't work for me. I cannot edit albums, upload pictures, or anything.

If I add a new album, it shows me all the "test" albums that are empty. If I click on one, it simply reloads the page. If I go to my albums from my control panel, it says "This user has no albums to display."

 

I figured it out.

For some reason, it tries to load jason-w-album-name. I changed it manually in the address bar to jason.w-album-name and it works fine. Is there any way I can fix this other than changing my name?

EDIT: I cannot upload photos. It tries to upload them to jason-w rather than jason.w, so it just shows blanks instead of real photos.

 

I don't see any photos awaiting moderation in your gallery (or a gallery on your profile page at all for that matter). Given what you're describing I suspect the forum software may be having an issue with the '.' in your name. I will see if we can have the tech team look into it.

 

If it proves to be potentially a lot of trouble, could we just change my user name to jason-w or something more friendly to the system?

If you go to my supposed gallery page, you'll see it says "jason75w" as the gallery's owner. In the address bar, it'll say...

jason-w-albums-i-d-like-to-introduce-you-to.html

But what it should say is...

jason.w-albums-i-d-like-to-introduce-you-to.html
