how about setting up a related thread section at the bottom of each thread like some other forums that will go un-named. that would be pretty nice.

Are you talking about sections within a section like DT? The ones that are basically dead except for general discussion?

 

yep. that would give a some insight to someone that is trying to figure out a problem by showing related threads. and it would save a lot of people from saying to do a search because if the person clicked on one thread that didn't have what they were looking for then they could click on related threads at the bottom of the one they were on. when i get on DT, i tend to get sidetracked by the related threads.

its just a thought. maybe a project for a bored administrator.

 

I really doubt that you'll ever see that as Pat- The Boss round these parts, has made it clear that we want to stay away from sections like that. You could always pop your idea to an admin and see though.
