The giveaways are coming, I'm not allowed to say anything more... 
As for the posting about the members total every thousand or so... I say always celebrate the small milestones... the big milestones speak for themselves. DF is my baby... and I want to celebrate every time one new member joins, LOL, so I don't at all mind seeing when people point out the small milestones... it makes me proud to be apart of a group that cares about the future of the forum.
