I know the forum censors most vulgar words with *** characters. No problems with that.

Why does it censor the word "*******ly"?
(the word is "v i r t u a l l y" (without the spaces of course) since I can't type it here without the edit.)

I know it has multiple syllables and may be a big word that confuses some, but seriously ?!?

Is there a list of "no-no" words somewhere? Surely the webmaster can cut and paste the database listings the forum software is using to reference the no-nos

That word is blocked because it is part of a web address to a "competing" site. We've asked several times to have it removed.

 

Nothing the volunteer admins or mods can do to change it. Has to be the higher ups.
