Partially that makes no sense at all James (not to be offensive)

If people want quick reliable help to a problem they have with theyre dodge, they come here to post once... If they really wanted to stick around and post alot they would have done it earlier. Im sure many people know the benifits of sites/forums so its not new to them. Having a chat room would give those one time people the chance to get theyre problem fixed instead of screwing around with posting. I get your point and all but it seems more efficientfor the people who need help...

oh, no offense taken, but what part??

all I was saying is that I have worked retail all my short life. So I kinda look at things from a "selling" perspective. I am not looking at it as what I want to see on here. But as "What do these larger sites offer that we do not?". And every one of them has a chat room!

You know...from the prespective of trying to retain some of those visitors that just pop in and leave without joining...maybe a chatroom with guest access would be a great thing cause then they just might stay a lil longer to really see what it is this site is all about and ask their question. If they get an immediategood response in the chatroom just maybe they will realize that this is a very helpful forum and join. Even if they don't join they will come back and chat again with a differentquestion down the line. Eventually it would help increase the member size and word of mouth would spread quickly. Just food for thought. Did Ilose anyone here? Basically it would give them a sample of what we are right away! kinda like sales...just because you don't sell them today doesn't mean they won't be back later if you treat them right the first time!

I have also noticed the larger forums have the chat rooms. I personally have yet to use them, because I usually don't have enough time to.
