uuhhhh yah, if its a smart phone, federal law requires the gps remain on for traceability

There used to be two settings for cell phones, "On" and "911 only". "911 only" meant that anyone with the government could track you if they so desired, and your cell phone was on. "On" meant anyone could track you if they had the right application on their smartphone/computer.

Now with smart phones, they are "On" by default and you can turn off what you don't want. But Fishin is right about Federal law, even if you turn GPS completely off, the Feds can still track you.

well well well. i really dont mind being tracked. if they fallowed me it would be very boring. go to the bank, parts store, doctor, get the idea.
