I need to replace a 22 gauge fusible link in my 91 Dodge W150 pickup. It protects the hazard flasher. I cannot find a suitable replacement in the aftermarket. Can I install a 20 amp fuse in the wiring near the battery in place of the fusible link which is located 3 feet away just before the firewall?
