why the dodge ram generations are setup like they are?2003-new is not the third gen of dodge pickups are yall talking bout third gen of ram

 

I don't quite understand what you are asking. The third generation is split up into the subforum V6 specifics to cause less confusion of the V8 engines and the V6 engine. 2002 to the current Ram are 3rd generation Rams despite the new bodystyle on the 2006 Rams.
