I just take my pictures and open them in a paint file, then go to stretch/skew and shrink the horizontal and vertical to 50% and save them. Usually that works and they end-up looking ok.

Yeah, if you open it up, you should have the option at the top ( pehaps under the EDIT tab ) to choose the option RESIZE. Click resize, save it, and your done.

Good luck !!

I have resized...many times. The last one I tried was something like 111 pixels wide and 77 pixels tall (ridiculously small), and I still got the error message. I'll play with it some more this weekend.

hmmm ... I never entered any numbers, I just hit resize, it did it automaticaly, and I saved it and all was good. Trust me, if it was any harder than that I wouldn't have pics posted.

I see what the problem is. The physical size of the pic wasn't the issue, it's still too many KB, even when shrunk! I was playing with a new camera (8.0 megapixel), finally took a pic of my truck and I think it makes the photos TOO good.

there should be an option on your camera to adjust the megapixels, set that down as low as possible, then take the pic. thats what I had to do with mine. I had the same problem, for once i didnt want such perfect pics

Quadro has the right of it....your camera has a setting on it that will let you adjust the size of your pictures when you take them.... your camera has pre-set settings on picture sizes.....like 5x7, 8x10 etc etc

If you need help resizing your pictures, here's a quick, easy way if you dont have any photo resizing programs....you can also PM me on the forum...

1) Go to www.resize2mail.com
2) Select option below (25% smaller 75%smaller etc..)
3) Click chose, and chose the correct image
4) Click ok
5) Right click on image after it is loaded and save as (desktop)
