A friend of mine said her 1997 Intrepid has a gas leak. She took it in and they said it would cost a lot for labor and it was a "O" ring. Any idea's what this could be or where to look? I'm 2 1/2 hours away and not able to get to it right away.

Not a lot of information there. Does it leak when its off, when the key is on, or only when driving it? Off-hand if the labor is high, its probably in the fuel rail perhaps where the line from the filter joins the fuel rail.

 

there is a recall on this. you can buy the recall kit from the dealer for $40. or have them fix it for free. dodge is evil. worst car company ever.
