Shopping for 98-02 Intrepid, what to check?
Hi there,
I'm new on your forum and I'm looking to buy a used Dodge Intrepid, probably around 1998-2002 (or newer depending on price). I don't know that much about this car except I owned a used 1994 Concorde LXi when I was 17 years old (I'm 27 now) and I really love that car except I remember the replacement parts was very expensive (suspension, brake, ect).
Now I have a few questions regarding the 98-02 Intrepid :
1. When shopping for a used Intrepid, what I have to check carefully? I mean... what is the weak points of this car?
2. What is the true gas-milleage of the 2.7L? I mean, how many miles or KM do you run with a full tank of gas in city and highway?
3. Is it still true that replacement parts are very expensive to buy or now you can find third-party parts for cheap?
4. Anything else to know about this vehicule?
