I recently found out that my A/c compressor is leaking and definitely needs replacing. Summer is almost over, so I figured I wouldn't fork out the money right now.

I was told that If I didn't replace it, the clutch might engage and ruin the serpentine belt and the only way to prevent it would be to disconnect the compressor.

I've got a 94 intrepid and not sure where or what to disconnect.

Any help would be appreciated.
