A friend of mine is having trouble with her factory radio/cd/cassette player. Here is what happens.

If you push the on button in, it activates the system. You can hear a click, but it immediately goes into CD mode. The screen says LOAD. If you try to load a CD it will take it and immediately eject it. The radio itself will only play intermittently. More so if it is cold out.

Here is my question. Is it repairable or a throw away. If it is not repairable what should she be looking for in a reasonably price replacement. Is there anything, ie amp or such that she should be aware of when purchasing a replacement and is it a nightmare for her to do herself.

I'm hoping it is a reset thing or something that is an easy fix.
