I recently bought a 1999 Intrepid 2.7L and I have a question about some daytime running headlights. I've noticed at night when I turn off the car and then turn off the headlights, just the headlights stay on and nothing else. I was wondering if this car did have daytime running headlights or if that is just a feature built into the car. I haven't timed just how long the lights stay on when I do this. If anyone knows something about this or if there is a switch or fuse for the headlights to enable this then please let me know. Thank you.

 

No, it most likely does not have daytime running lamps...It would have like an "A" on the switch..However, at nighttime, they do stay on for security reasons for a couple of minutes...I think its in the manual...
