A/C reverse light problems

Hi lookin for some help, I've got a ,02 with a 3.2 engine. I/ve checked and looks like the A/C fuse is linked with the reverse lights. If the car sits in park I can run the AC all day but if I put the car in gear the fuse blows. If I just put the car in gear with the AC off it will still blow just takes a bit. Any thoughts, thank you.
