Default coolant issue

i drove about 4 miles and when i stopped the coolant in the resv was boiling. i reseated the cap and drove home and it was not boiling when i stopped and the level was ok. i then noticed a leak from a rubber hose and grommet underneath the car. it was located underneath the paaenger floorboard. it was water but not antifreeze. the heater and ac still work fine. y question is what is the hose and grommet for and what could ba the problem? Also the floorboard carpet was not wet.

any help would be great. thanks

"it was water but not antifreeze."

Then if you were using the A/C, it is the condensate from the drain line. Normal, nothing to worry about, but keep an eye on the coolant level.
