Intrepid doesn't turn crank, ruled out battery and alternator. What now?
So yesterday I was attempting to put an aftermarket stereo system in. (unsuccessful). I read that you have to wire the red wire to something such as the ignition switch etc. I couldn't find that so I decided to relay it to the fuse box with a fuse holder so it wouldn't short out anything. Well why doing this my intrepid made a weird screechy noise. (car was off).
I go to turn it on and it doesn't even crank over.
I brought battery to auto zone to see if that was dead but it was giving me more than 12 volts meaning the alternator is still doing its job.
My guess is there is a fuse somewhere unknown that popped but I already looked on my driver side fuse box and also under the hood fuse box and everything is in working order.
Any suggestions would be great.
I appreciate your time!
