Popping sound from intake plenum??

Default Popping sound from intake plenum??
Started the intrepid today and noticed a popping sound coming from the intake plenum...im wondering if the timing is off?

what would be an easy way to tell if the timing is off?

Water pump was replaced...chain and guides were removed i fired it up on saturday everything sounded fine went and fired it up today and its making the popping sound now......
