Default RE: REPLACING STEREO NO SOUND HELP!!

I'm not sure if this is of any help or not because of the different platforms, but I own a 96 doge truck and a 97 I trepid. The Intrepid is straight forward, but the truck, is a bit different. It also has the Infinity premium sound, but each speaker has its own amp. To power each is power from a fuse bank, but the ground comes from the stereo. If this is how they did it on your intrepid, you need to feed the "choke relay" with the ground output of the power antenna output on the radio.

I don't know if this helps the OP after 4 years, but for anybody changing the stereo in the car to aftermarket one - be sure you connect the "power antena" wire to the blue wire from your Intrepid
It took me 4 hours to figure it out (I have no "power antena")
