Door Unlocking
Just picked up our new Journey SXT (Loaded up and with just about everything minus the child seat kit). Awesome Crossover BTW!!!
Having trouble programming the doors to unlock all doors though. Unfortunately the manual says to use the steering wheel controls to get into programming mode, but the controls I have vs. the ones the manual shows are different. Looks like Dodge made some changes along the way and didn't update the book.
Anyone know how to set the doors to unlock all when the car is shut off and when the unlock button is pressed on the remote?

I can just press it twice too, but would rather not have to. When I shut the car off, the fronts unlock, then I get out and go to open the doors for the kids and have to get the keys again to unlock the back doors.
My little mind always forgets and puts the keys in my pocket when I get out so I'm diggin them out everytime.

do you have the steering wheel controls? I found the instructions to do this W/O the steering wheel controls.
1. Press and hold the LOCK button on your key fob for atleast 4 sec but no longer than 10. then press the UNLOCK button while still holding the LOCK button.
2. Release the buttons at the same time
3. Test
I also found the instructions to program the locks to automatically unlock on exit if you want those too.

Thanks Natedogg! I used the instructions you gave so the key fob unlocks with one touch now and it worked great!
Yes, I would like the instructions to make them unlock when the car is shut off and put in park as well if you have them.

1. enter the vehicle and close all doors
2. Put key into ignition
3. Cycle key from LOCK and ON 4 times ending on LOCK... DO NOT START THE CAR.
4. Within 30 sec of doing the previous step press the unlock button switch.
5. You should hear a single chime if you did it right.
theres the instructions... Oh and BTW they came straight from the owners manual... lol
