Question Fuel filling problems

We have a 2010 Journey with approx 7600 miles on it. We have been noticing that when trying to fill up the gas tank, the nozzle stops numerous times, like the fuel is backing up or there is a back-pressure problem. Sometimes it will start kicking off only a minute into filling, and no matter how I adjust the nozzle by pulling it out/moving it around, it's just a pain. Has anyone else noticed a problem like this? I've heard that there could be a filter or something in the vapor system that could possible cause this problem. Might call the dealer since it's under warranty.

Same gas station? try another pump/station.

Default gas pump

Mine does that too, it is the fuel pressure from the nozzle. Some of the gas stations I fuel up at I must hold the handle half way so the pressure is not too strong, it sucks but it works. Hope it helps.

Reminds me of filling my 78 powerwagon. it had a really short 90 degree bend right after the filler hole. The filler pipe probably bends too short and the fuel backs up, thus tripping the nozzle.
