Default Driver Door Problem

The 2009 Dodge Journey SXT:

When I remote locked, all doors are able to lock but the driver door won't lock

when I remote unlocked, all doors are able to unlock, but the driver door won't unlock

Same with alarm on/off and along with driving.

What do I concern about? Any tips will helpful. I doubt it relates electrical.

Thanks in advance.

2009s had a problem with the wiring loom coming into the door.
The wires failed causing miscellaneous problems with door
electrical functions so it may be the source of you problem,
possibly try flexing the loom while using the fob functions.

I think there is a wiring harness recall on the earlier built Jouney, call your dealer and check.
But sometimes the problem is the Latch or a bad Driver's door module.

Default Door lock module

I had the same problem and it ended up being the door lock module in the drivers side door.Module is not cheap but save yourself the headache.
