2012 Journey:--Is this display for information only or can I actually influence the km/ltr (mpg)?
If I can set this display how do I do it and what am I doing to the vehicle's performance?

You can only RESET it to 0,having said that it will
until the algorythm acquires enough data reflect very
poor mpg.
The only way you can influence the readout is by
your driving style which in turn influences the data
fed to the dislplay computer.
You cannot influence the DJs performance via readouts.
