Default Journey vs Snow

Hi,
I'm a newbie looking at a 2012 or 2013 Journey FWD. my question is, how is it in the snow with the stock tires. I live in CT, and I've always had good luck with FWD vehicles and all weather tires. The only exception was my wife's 300M that we bought new in 2001. That thing was worthless in snow until I put on some all weather tires to replace the Michelin performance tires.
Thanks,
Bruce

Hi Bruce and welcome to the forum.

I live down at the SW end of Lake Ontario and although
we usually get a fair share of snow last winter I only
fired up the snowblower 3X.
What snow we did get my SXT 3.6L FWD fared very
well with the stock 17" Kumho tires and the anti skid
software kicked in a couple of times.
Depends on the driver and the street maintenance
in your local area.

Thanks bigstr,
That's exactly what I needed to hear. If it gets real bad I'll just stay home. I just want to at least get around in light or plowed snow.

I'm still trying to decide between a Journey, and a Chrysler T&C. I like the Journey much better, but the minivan will be much easier to get our three Grand Babies in and out.

Thanks again,
Bruce
