2012 Journey R/T, have had for about a year and have had this problem from day 1 but too busy to take it in for service.

Sticker and Website say it's a 21Gal Gas Tank. I can be on/below the E and it only takes 15-16Gal is that normal?

 

This has been noted on different occasions on
various Journey forums.
It would seem that there is minimal amount to
be held in reserve as the fuel pump uses gas for cooling
otherwise would overheat.
Different owners seem to have different fill amounts.

 

yea but 5-6 gal seems ridiculous. I had a 09 Journey/2011 200/02 rendevouz/several town and country's. and all of them would be withing 1-2gal of max when the gas gauge was on/below E.
