Uconnect voice command not working
Hi. I just purchased a 2013 Dodge Journey SXT that's equipped with Uconnect Voice command with Bluetooth. I already paired my iPhone5 and all those stuff. I just want to ask, how do you activate this voice command feature? It says on the User guide to press the Voice Command button located on the steering wheel and wait for the beep before saying a command but I don't hear any kind of beep at all. Whenever I pressed the voice command button, it only tells me to press the phone button to be able to make a call. I don't even want to make a call, all I want is to try the other commands so I can familiarize myself with it. Shall I be worried with this, I'm not sure now if I'm just doing it the wrong way or that voice command feature is just defective.. I hope someone can enlighten me.

When I press the phone or vr button I hear rhe beep but than it tells me it cannot understand me. When I make calls I can hear them but they can't hear me. And before this all worked fine than one day it sounded like a horrible connection. I don't think its the bluetooth module can the mic go bad? It's in my rear view mirror. Any thoughts?
