Default Journey or Durango - That is the Question

Family's looking to replace our tired Sienna minivan. Really like the Durango, but wife came across the Journey and started asking, "Why not? It's $10,000 less, etc." Note that if we go with a Durango, we're not looking at the `14 and the 8-speed, but maybe a `12 or `13. (Stats: would be wife's car, we're a family of 4 but both kids in high school and in two yrs will be off to college, mostly city driving in-and-around north Dallas.)

So, what say you? Dependability? Reliability? Build quality?

Thanks, all!

P.s. I've asked this over on the Durango page as well, but wanted to catch all you guys as well for your opinions.

We've had our 09 for 71,000 miles now. Only issues are the door wiring recall, ac compressor and alternator have been replaced and also some kind of intake manifold valve. (all under warranty) All and all a very dependable vehicle. I like the Durango as well, but the Journey's now are a heck of a lot nicer that the 09 we have (1st year of production). We will probably get another Journey after this one is worn out. As you said, the Durango is a lot more expensive as well, but, you can get a hemi in it....
