Default UK 2.0 Diesel RT Fuel Consumption

Quick question for anyone out there with this car - what consumption is your computer telling you and, if you know, what consumption are you actually getting?

I'm getting about 34mpg and 30mpg respectively (the latter tracking fill to fill). I'm pretty disappointed with these numbers given that it was advertised as 40 combined, 50 motorway - I wasn't expecting 50 but from my driving patterns, I was expecting at or slightly above 40....

Man I wish they would offer the diesel version in this country...dang tree huggers..we get 19 at the most, on trips, with our 4 cylinder gas engine. I'd be ticked to death with 30 mpg....not sure if there are any other diesel Journey owners here. Hopefully they will chime in if so. Welcome to DF!

For what it's worth, 30 EU MPG equates to 25 US MPG - so not as much a difference, but still an improvement. Though something odd does seem to be up with US cars - they seem to have terrible MPG across the board. Sting is taken out a little by the fact that my Journey costs in the region of $160-170 to refill here in the UK - I bet you'd struggle to get $40 in there in the US.
