Signal light won't work with lights on
Hello,
Have an issue that maybe someone could help me with. 2009 Dodge Journey right signal light will not work when night time lights are on. During the day, when the day time running lights are on the signal light will work. Changed out all the lights on the vehicle as well as check all the fuses. Not sure what the problem is or how to go about looking into it any further. Also noticed when its not working properly the horn will not honk when locking or starting the vehicle. Would rather not take it to the dealership and pay them 400 dollars for something simple ha. Any help would be great

In Chrysler products the TIPM (totally integrated power module)
will turn off electrical circuits individually if it sees an overcurrent
in a particular device.
If that signal lamp presented a problem with regards to current
flow this may be the cause.
Disconnect the car battery for 10 - 15 minutes then reconnect
this procedure commonly resets faults noted by the TIPM.
It's worth a try before you throw more money at the problem.

I will defiantly give that a try. This morning I started the vehicle up and it randomly started working again, but when the wife took it to work she told me it started to bugger up when she arrived. I'll give the battery thing a shot when she gets home and post my aftermath. Thanks for the tip
