heated seats
There isn't a way to get the passenger seat to automatically come on...much to the dismay of my wife. I checked the owner's manual, the user guide, the DVD and my dealership; the answers were all the same, either they (the manuals) didn't mention a process to get them to come on, or they (the dealership; multiple individuals from sales to service) said there wasn't a way... Doesn't take long to heat up and she's learned to live with a cold seat to start. My RAM truck is the same way; no passenger heat inside until turned on by the user.
If there was a way, it would have to be done by the StarScan tool and then I don't think that there would be a way to turn it off in the spring, summer and fall. I even thought (briefly) about trying to tie the two seats together using the driver's seat harness for power, but, then I don't think the wiring is up to carrying the current for both seats (a major re-wire job would be required) and then the driver's seat button would turn them both off or on and one or the other would be at the mercy of the one that wanted heat or didn't want heat.

Spot on brother. ^^
I don't have the luxury of heated seats....had them in my Dakota and never used them. Guess if I live somewhere where it got below 30 F constantly I might appreciate them. As it is, I have a heated garage and dont have to worry about the cold butt syndrome.
