Default Can bluetooth hands free be added to existing Uconnect?

I bought a 2014 Journey SXT that has the 4.3 inch touchscreen with satellite radio. Unfortunately I don't have the Bluetooth or hands free calling. Can the dealer add this on somehow?

Speaking from past posts here and other forums the dealer
can do it for about $1700.00 or you can with Chinese built
replacements for about 5-600.00.
Google journey forums and check Ebay for units being sold.
A trip to your dealer will let you know if they will do it and how much
they will charge.

Other option is to buy a standalone GPS with built - in BT for the phone.

Anything can be done if you throw enough money at it. The problem comes down to how much is it worth to you? And depending on the shop you use, could be even higher than the cost mentioned above.

Since the option wasn't on the car when you bought it or you didn't order the car with it, then it won't have any of the mentioned hardware installed nor the software for at least two of the modules that it would need along with the VIN flash update to indicate to the system that you have that option. You'll also need the rear view mirror with the microphone. Is going to be a very expensive and time consuming proposition and even then you may have problems with it until they get the "kinks" ironed out of it (a lot of electrical connections to make and wiring to be shifted around). That's why, of the last 8 vehicles I've purchased, they've all been factory orders. With today's computer controls, adding "options" isn't like years past when all you had to do was worry about getting power, adding a fuse and finding a place for a switch.
