Possible blown head gasket or????
Hi all very stumped here. We have a 2009 dodge journey, which is my worst investment ever , that I'm stumped on an issue. Found oil or something in the antifreeze overflow/reservoir tank....someone said possible blown head gasket but the car has no issues to show it. Runs like it should, no smoke, no check engine light on or anything but it does use oil a little bit. I have never seen anything like this...I have seen antifreeze in oil but not the other way around. Has anyone had this issue or have any ideas?
If your sure oil is getting into the cooling system I would think
the opposite is also a fact.
You could have your oil analyzed for water and that would verify the need
for the head gaskets.
White smoke at startup would be a telling indicator , eventually a seized
engine will be the overall result.
