Default Upgrades

I've seen so few upgrades for the Journey and it makes me sad

Anyone done any performance/visual upgrades? Especially on the V6 upgrades since it's a pretty decent and kinda fun one to drive.

There have been many DJ owners who have done the standard
visual upgrades i.e. windows,paint treatments,wheels and tires.
The new Pentastar V6 in the DJ is pretty well locked into the PCM
provided with as no major player i.e. Diablo has come forward
with tune modifications.
Some owners have fabricated their own version of cold air intakes
and others have restructured the exhaust system taking off resonators
and installing glasspack style mufflers.
The Pentastar has the exhaust headers built into the heads so that
eliminates that possibility.
Chrysler changes the HP/torque specs in the various V6 platforms thru
custom intakes and PCM tunes to suit their market platforms.

Wow, that's a huge bummer about the headers being built into the heads. Didn't even know that was possible.

I'm assuming custom exhaust should be fine right? I've seen custom tuners for the DJ but wondering what the limit of that would be if anyone's done it yet.

Where have you seen custom tuners for the DJ? Custom exhaust will be fine. There is no performance aftermarket due to the fact that the majority of Journey buyers are not looking to modify their vehicle. There is not enough business to justify the R&D cost.

Very sad to hear considering that it has a little under 40HP shy of making 300.

I know Jet is a good brand and have been around so they're not some generic company. Costs a little under $247.
