Default 2013 Journey Flicker of lights while car is off

2013 Dodge Journey bought brand new, tonight driving home in a thunderstorm (not sure if relevant) all inside lights began to flicker dashlights, and it was dinging like a seatbelt reminder or a door ajar but neither was the case, got home turned it off thought it was fine, a few hours later I glance outside and the lights are now flickering again. I went to start it for fear it was dead, started just fine i turned it off the lights went out like they normally do, checked on it again 30 minutes later the lights are doing it again! Any suggestions? also nolonger under warranty.

That sort of behavior is an indicator of faulty wiring
or body module and seriously not something for the
faint hearted or untrained owner to tackle.
If it were mine I'd bite the bullet and have it looked at
immediately by a dealer/auto electric mechanic.

Agreed. If it's brand new, it should have soem sort of warranty. Take it in to where you bought it from.

Hi Jessica,

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about your concern. I did some research and unfortunately I didn’t find any TSBs related to your concerns. As the other folks in this thread have said, I recommend bringing your vehicle to an FCA dealership for a formal diagnosis. If you would like any assistance with scheduling an appointment, feel free to let me know!
