Default 2012 Journey SXT ABS/Traction control light is on.

I have had intermittent (more on than off) ABS/Traction Control light on in a '12 Journey SXT FWD.

I replaced the very worn rear rotor and brake pads. Now the light is always on.

How do I pinpoint the problem? There was no wiring into or around the rear hub or on the caliper.

Does the wheel spin freely rotating by hand?
Possibly emergency hanging up.
Did you rotate the pad actuators when you installed the new pads?

The rear wheels spin freely. I did turn the actuators fully to be able to install the new rotor and brake pads.
I did not see any electronics going into the hub/axle assembly on the rear axle of my FWD Journey.

I looked at the parts manual and I don't see any
sensors on the rear either so I would assume that
the indicator is being generated by one of the front
brake assys that do have sensors.

Thank you for the information. Muchly appreciated. Now to start on the front caliper/rotor/sensor evaluation

Are there any trouble codes present, 59skippy?
