Hi,
I'm having issues replacing the starter in my 2009 4 cyl. Journey. I was able to get the old starter out eventually but I'm having a difficult time getting the starter back into place in the limited amount of space that is available.

Does anyone have any tips as I'm frustrated and have given up for the day?
Has anyone considered taking the manifold off?

To install a replacement starter, I had to remove the throttle body on a 2010 2.4L. Be careful of the gasket. See the post on the next page titled "2010 starting issue." There is some diagrams & dialogue that may help you.
