Uconnect and bluetooth connections
I have had my 2013 Dodge Journey for just over a year now and lately more than ever when i try to connect the Uconnect via bluetooth to my cell phone it continuously tells me to make sure the device is on and in range. It doesnt matter what type of cell phone i am trying to connect, the result is the same. Some days it will connect right away but 90% of the time it wont. It seems the phones are attempting to connect to the Uconnect but in the end they just cant but tbey are paired. I cheked the software and i am up to date.
Any suggestions?????

Hi Barryd1968,
Sorry to hear about this! I would try deleting the Bluetooth pairing from your Uconnect system and phone and trying to re-pair them. Also, you can try and do a soft reset of your Uconnect system:
Step 1) Put your vehicle into the accessories mode (ACC or RUN) **For keyless start (push-button) vehicles: push the start button twice without having your foot on the gas or brake pedal**
Step 2) Hold down the Phone and voice recognition buttons (or volume and tuner buttons), at the same time, for thirty seconds.
Step 3) Let go of the buttons
Step 4) Turn vehicle off
Step 5) Open driver’s side door for thirty seconds
Step 6) Close door
Step 7) Restart vehicle
Step 8) Let the media centre load up and see if concern is still present
If this doesn't help I would recommend visiting your local dealership for further diagnosis. Let me know if you have any additional questions!
