Replaced battery, remote start no longer works
After replacing the battery in my girlfriend's 09 journey everything works just fine except the remote start.
usually, your press the start button twice on the fob, the horn honks twice, doors lock, and the car starts up.. Okay. well now no matter how many times I press the button the horn honks only once and the doors lock, just as if I'd hit the lock button, it's like the darn thing forgot it's programming or something.
we have no warranty on the vehicle so any ideas, short of an expensive trip to the dealership, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You might have set some codes during the swap. If you ARE getting the honk when pressing buttons, then then at least one of the inhibit items is active. Check your HOOD switch first.
