oil pressure fluctuation
hiya folks,
i just purchased a 2016 journey, 23K miles. 6 cyl sxt awd. it runs great [I think]. lots of killer goodies. while familiarizing [engine info data] I discovered at cold star up, oil pressure reads +/- 90 pounds. while driving at normal speed [50-55], after 1-2 minute warm up, l noticed oil pressure readout moves wildly between 40 and 90 pounds. the reading, while cruising, reads near steady +/-45 pounds, then rapidly increases to the upper 80's when decelerating. after engine oil temp reaches +/- 100 degrees, the oil pressure settles at +/- 40-42 pounds.
is this normal?
