Default Need help

My daughter wiped out the connecting rod bearings on her 09 dodge journey with a 2.4 Ordered four sets of rod bearings from the car dealer and no one can figure out what this thing needs ,stamping on the crank is 22222 on the other side is 2112 the lead mechanic said he's only had to order Bearings once and doesn't know how to do it any help would be appreciated .

there are 4 con rod bearings and 5 crank main bearings. the 2112 are the con rod bearing sizes. there are 3 possible selections size 1 , 2 or 3.
they probably count from number 1 cylinder first (dealer would know)
if that is the case, the bearing sizes are:
cylinder 1= size 2
cyl 2= size 1
cyl 3 = size 1
cyl 4= size 2

the bearing caps are a fractured cap design. they are bored then cracked apart. do not index them by stamping them with a punch...use a paint pen.

The dealer stated I need to purchase two separate halfs for each rod bearing they do not come as a set
