Angry 2013 journey won't start

Hello, my brother has a 2013 dodge journey with just under 90k miles. Yesterday he was leaving work and when attempting to start the vehicle he got a message to press the clutch (its an automatic) and press start. After about 20 minutes of trying all advice he could find, it went back to the normal message to press brake then start and it worked. He got home but when he was leaving for work this morning got the clutch message again and it hasn't changed. The key fob battery is good (tried both fobs), and the vehicle's battery is charged. Any idea what is going on?

Never heard of this one. May have to get the dealership involved.

Hi Chrissy,

It sounds like your brother is still within the powertrain warranty period of his vehicle (5 years/100K miles), so his Dodge dealership would still look at powertrain components under warranty.
