my daughter's 2016 journey has started to show what the dealer says is rock chips right on the edge between the fender and hood. i don't think that's what it is ,i mean there are no other chips anywhere on the car ,hood,fenders or etc. is it bad paint?

 

Looks like rock chips to me.

 

thanks for the reply but they are just in a weird place and i have a hard time believing that nothing else got scratched but those 2 spots 6" apart.

Be lucky it just chipped the paint and not crack the windshield. Ever see a construction truck hit a bump and rocks go flying everywhere?
