8.4 uconnect
I’m having some issues with my uconnect. If I have my iphone plugged in with the lighting charger, I can not use my phone to change the songs. The voice recognition rarely works. I can also not use the steering wheel controls to change the song. I just updated the system.
I have a 2015 Dodge Journey and I believe it’s a 8.4 I connect.

The uconnect 8.4 for iPhone functions work better when you plug your device into the USB port under the dash of the unit to work properly. This will also charge your iPhone. Unforgivably, these 8.4 uconnect units are in there own class's for Journey's. Like the other 8.4 uconnects units in the Caravans, Durangos etc. they have the new generation functions that allow devices (iPhone, Androids) to work through the unit. I was going to update mine but the wire harness's are different.
