Default 2011 3.6l cranks but won't fire

Yesterday was driving my journey and it stalled while moving. Coasted to a stop put the car in park and turned it off. Hit the push start and it started right up. Did some running around and no more problems started each time and didn't stall again.

This morning went to start the car and it only cranks but won't fire. Battery seems good since it is cranking strong. I checked fuel pump fuse under hood and it is good. Also noticed that the fuel gauge is no longer working. When you turn car to run it cycles but then drops to bottom. The car has about a half tank.

Any help on where I should start diagnosis would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: forgot to mention I now have a P0463 (fuel lvl sensor circuit high) code.
Also had 2 other stored codes
1: P0300 ( random miss fire )
2: P0018 ( samshaft position sensor). I replaced this camshaft sensor already with a factory Mopar sensor. Code went away for awhile then came back. Cel was not on when this problem started.

Only open recall is for steering wheel wiring harness. And have an appointment with dealer to get that done already.

I just got done pulling the fuel line and hooking up a pressure tester. There is no pressure when the car is trying to start. Didn't even get drips when I removed the tester there is no fuel in the lines. Would the fuel pump going out effect the fuel guage function?

Since it’s part of the pump, yes.

Update:. Bought a new fuel pump and went to install it today. And as I was dropping the tank I saw that the wiring harness to the fuel pump had been completely chewed through. A little bit of wire splicing some heat shrink and electrical tape and it is running like a champ.

Now if I can figure out how to keep critters from chewing it again i will be happy.
