Dodge Journey 2010 Diesel A/T, Cruise software updates?
Hi,
does anyone have a clue is it possible to tweak cuise settings somehow?
I've got automatic transmission, it has 6 gears. When driving around 90kmh (around 60mph) it drives well in most of cases, BUT.
When road has short but radical uphill that it could drive with 6th gear, it first changes to 5th gear, but as it doesnt give time for car to accerlate it changes to 4th gear almost immediadly.
And actually when 4th gear pops in, the car is allready in top of that small hill, then it changes back to 5th and then 6th.
Route to my work, has couple of these hills on road. Now im using D-gear to accerlate and then i pull it on to manual mode and it locks to 6th gear, then drive with cuise and it all goes well.
Somehow seems that cruise wont let car benefit turbodiesel engine torque at all, its downshifting like id do with underpowered gas engine.
Anyone experienced the same?
