Default Passenger and rear door locks not responding to unlock

I have a 2009 Dodge Journey RT. The passenger and rear doors and hatch are having issues unlocking. The response is the same between the key fob and door unlock controls. The weird thing is it works when it wants too. If I hit the unlock button once on the fob it will open the driver side door. If I hit it twice the parking lights flash but the remaining doors will not open. Like I said it’s random. They will work one day and not the next. Any suggestions.

I’ve owned the car for 3 years and I did not. I did check the vin # with dodge and no open recalls were found. Should I call to confirm? I did do a recall last year regarding the ignition

Hey Gonzo208,

You can check for recalls by entering your VIN here: https://www.mopar.com/en-us/my-vehicle/recalls.html. We'd recommend visiting your dealer to have this looked into, and please PM us if you need any additional assistance once your vehicle is in service!
